# rhyz > rhyz is a private daily affirmation app. You write one wish in your own words, and it gives you affirmations that sound like you and that you can believe, plus one small real step a day. A minute or two a day is enough, there are no streaks, and you don't need an account to start. It is a reflection and goal-practice tool, not medical or mental-health care, and it never claims that believing something makes it happen. rhyz has not launched yet. People can save a seat at https://rhyz.app/start. Pricing has not been decided. ## How it works - Write a wish in your own words, the way you'd say it to a friend. Optionally add one ordinary moment that would tell you it's becoming real. - AI writes seven affirmations and seven small steps for that wish. They are marked "Written with AI" and every word can be edited. The first affirmation arrives in under a minute. - Each day: one fresh affirmation and one small step under fifteen minutes. Reading the affirmation counts as using the app. - "Does this feel true today?" Tap "A bit much" and the affirmation softens one step ("I'm learning to…", then "I'm open to the idea that…"). Tap "Feels true" to keep it. - Four tones: Gentle, Grounded (default), Bold, Spiritual. - Small step: "I did it" and "Not quite" count the same. After "Not quite", rhyz asks what got in the way and offers an easier version next time (an if-then plan). - Reminders up to three times a day at times you choose, and a lock-screen widget. Reminders never mention streaks or missed days. - Put it down: burn, let go of, or scratch away a thought. Nothing is kept. Then an optional question to see it a different way, and an evening check-in. - Your month: every 30 days, a 30-petal mandala of the days you showed up. It counts what you did and never claims the app caused anything. - Optional practices: soft affirmations (narrator or your own voice, over rain, low hum or night air), My voice recordings, 3 6 9 writing, Take a minute (4-4-6 breathing), boards, a swipeable affirmation deck, share cards. ## Wish areas - Love: e.g. "I let myself be easy to love." - Money: e.g. "I move money into savings first, and it feels normal." - Confidence: e.g. "I take up the space I’m in." - Peace: e.g. "I put the day down when it ends." - Work: e.g. "I do the next useful thing and let that be enough." - Friendship: e.g. "I reach out first, and it costs me nothing." - Health: e.g. "I treat my body like someone I’m on the side of." - Home & family: e.g. "I make our home a place people want to come back to." ## Privacy - Kept on your phone: wishes, affirmations, notes, step logs, recordings, board pictures. No account; nothing synced unless exported. - Sent to AI: only a wish's words, area, described picture and chosen tone, to write affirmations and steps. - Leaves only when you share: a card with one affirmation and the wordmark. ## Ideas it borrows (modern adaptations, not the rites themselves) - Name it: Sankalpa (संकल्प), Hindu traditions, India. A deliberate intention or resolve, often spoken in religious and contemplative settings. In rhyz: You name one wish in your own words, and rhyz keeps it on your phone. - Say it: Kotodama (言霊), Japan. An old belief in the spiritual power of words, found in early poetry and religious tradition. In rhyz: A daily affirmation, read, said out loud, or recorded in your own voice. - Move: Wu wei (無為), Daoist thought, China. Often translated as “non-action”, better read as action without forcing. It doesn’t mean doing nothing. In rhyz: One small, natural next step a day, and an easier version when it doesn’t happen. - Notice: Daruma (達磨), Japan. A common modern custom: fill in one eye when you set a goal, the other when it’s reached. Customs vary. In rhyz: Your month comes back as a mandala that fills in as you show up, with a question to see things differently. - Let go: Moira (Μοῖρα), Greek mythology. Fate and limits: in the myths, plans meet a share of things no one controls. In rhyz: Burn a thought, put the day down, and close the app without looking for proof. ## Questions ### What is rhyz? rhyz is a private daily affirmation app. You write one wish in your own words, and it writes affirmations that sound like you and that you can believe, plus one small real step a day. A minute or two is enough, there are no streaks, and you don’t need an account to start. ### When does rhyz open? Not yet, and there’s no date to share. Save your seat and we’ll email you when it opens. ### What will it cost? That isn’t decided yet. You won’t need an account to start, and you’ll see any price before you pay it. ### Will it make my wish come true? Nothing can promise that, including rhyz. It keeps one wish in front of you, in your words, once a day. Your month counts what you did, and that’s all it claims. ### How long does it take each day? A minute or two. Reading your affirmation counts as using the app. The small step is under fifteen minutes, and everything else is optional. ### Is it spiritual? As much as you want it to be. Pick the Spiritual tone and your affirmations talk about intention and openness. Pick Grounded and they’re plain and practical. Either way, rhyz never claims that thinking something makes it happen. ### Who writes the affirmations? AI writes seven affirmations and seven small steps from your wish’s words, its area, the picture you describe and the tone you pick. They’re marked “Written with AI”, and you can edit any word. Nothing else you write is sent anywhere. ### Can I have more than one wish? Yes. You can hold several and switch which one is active. When a wish happens, or you decide to let it go, it moves to your past wishes. ### Where do the ideas come from? A few old ones, borrowed carefully. Naming a resolve (sankalpa, from Hindu traditions). Writing wishes on wooden ema plaques at Japanese shrines. The belief that words carry spirit (kotodama). Action without forcing (wu wei, from Daoist thought). The Greek idea of moira, the share of things no one controls. rhyz adapts their shape for daily life; it doesn’t claim to practise them, and none of them is a method for getting what you want. ### What isn’t in it? No streaks, scores or missed-day messages. No feed of other people’s wishes. No tarot, star signs or named companion. It isn’t therapy, and it won’t tell you that thinking something makes it happen. You can still call it manifesting; plenty of people do. ### Who is it for? Anyone with something they want. A lot of wishes are about love or money; plenty are about confidence, peace, work, health, a household or a family. ### What happens to my email? We keep it, with your answers from Get started, so we can tell you when rhyz opens. We don’t sell it or share it. Write to rhyz@dyven.tech and we’ll delete it. ## Links - [Home](https://rhyz.app/) - [Save a seat](https://rhyz.app/start) - [Privacy](https://rhyz.app/privacy)
